Body contouring Despite a healthy diet and regular exercise, excess fat deposits can still stubbornly remain on parts of your body – such as arms, abdomen, thighs, buttocks, knees, hips, back, male breasts and love handles.
Let us help.
Vaser LipoSelection is an advanced technology that allows the dissolving and removing fat cells with the use of gentle ultrasound. Unlike traditional liposuction, LipoSelection allows for more precision in specifically targeting fat. It minimizes the impact and interruption to other nearby tissues, which significantly minimizes your recovery period.

Who is a good candidate for Vaser LipoSelection?
Healthy individuals looking for an alternative to traditional liposuction; adults still within a reasonable range of their ideal weight who have firm, elastic skin and good muscle tone.
How does Vaser LipoSelection work?
It uses gentle ultrasonic waves to dissolve select areas of fat pockets without disturbing or putting stress on nearby nerves and collagen tissues. This is possible as the ultrasound is able to differentiate fatty tissue from other important body tissue (such as blood vessels, connective tissue and nerves) that should be left largely undisturbed. The unwanted fat tissue is gently dissolved and efficiently removed from such areas as the abdomen, arms, back, hips, knees, love handles, saddlebags, thighs, or any place you feel you’ve developed extra weight. Through a small self-healing incision, of about 1cm, our physicians are able to use this technology to precisely remove fatty areas gently and smoothly.
What happens during the procedure?
First, the area to be reshaped is refilled with a special saline solution that helps numb the site and shrink the blood vessel (to minimize blood loss and reduce bruising). This solution wets and fills the area to be treated, making it easier to break up fatty tissue with sound energy. Then a small probe transmits sound energy (similar to that used for cataract removal from the eye) that fragments fatty tissue on contact, while leaving other important tissue relatively intact. Finally, the liquefied fat is removed through a gentle suction process designed to minimize damage to surrounding tissues.
What happens post-procedure?
Your recovery period varies with the extensiveness of the procedure – the amount of fat removed and the number of areas treated, for example. Bruising and swelling are expected to occur and can last between 3 – 5 months. If you feel any severe pain or other abnormal symptoms, call your doctor immediately.
