Breast augmentation Breast augmentation is also known as mammoplasty, breast enlargement or breast enhancement. Women may choose to undergo this surgery for many reasons – perceiving their breasts to be under-developed, for example, desiring fuller breasts, or experiencing changes in breast volume and shape after childbirth, breastfeeding, weight loss or aging.
Let us help.
We offer breast enlargement surgery using breast implants, which can give a woman a more proportional shape or make it look fuller. We also perform breast reduction, nipple reconstruction and breast lift to restore the beauty, shape and appeal of a woman's expression of femininity.

How is breast augmentation performed?
Breast implants are inserted using one of four main types of surgical incisions:
Inframammary
Made within the breast fold, for maximal access to precisely dissect tissue and emplace breast implants.
May product thicker, slightly more visible surgical scar.
Periareolar
Made along the periphery of the areola, that results in a less visible scar.
Associated with higher risk of difficulty to breastfeed and altered sensation to the nipple.
Transaxillary
Made to the armpit, hence no scars on the breast.
Gives the surgeon the least control and likelier to produce inferior asymmetry of the implant-device position.
Where will the implant be placed?
One of the most important factors in a successful breast augmentation is the proper placement of the implant. Depending on your breasts and even lifestyle, the implants are inserted under the natural breast tissue or behind the chest muscles.
What preparations are taken before the surgery?
In some instances, we recommend a baseline mammogram before surgery and another mammography examination some months after surgery. This will help to detect any future changes in your breast tissue. If you are a smoker, you will be asked to stop smoking well in advance of surgery. Aspirin and certain anti-inflammatory drugs can cause increased bleeding, so you should avoid taking these medications for a period of time before the surgery.
What happens post-surgery?
You may be permitted to go home after a few hours, unless you and your plastic surgeon have determined that you will need to stay in the hospital or surgical facility overnight. In general, patients will experience mild discomfort, swelling and bruising for days after the procedure. Depending on the daily-life physical activities required, the breast augmentation patient usually resumes her normal life at one-week post-operative. Patients should refrain from jogging, biking, horseback riding, running, heavy lifting and sexual intercourse for about 6 weeks. If you feel any severe pain or other abnormal symptoms, call your doctor immediately.
