  Mouthguards / nightguard

Injury can occur to the teeth, that is not related to dental health – due to the grinding or clenching of teeth during sleep, for example, or contact sports. These cause the teeth to sustain dental damage that over time may result in tooth loss.

  Let us help.
For unconscious teeth grinding or clenching, nightguards are bite pads that are used when you go to sleep. This device keeps the upper teeth from grinding with the lower. For contact sports, a mouthguard will limit the risk of mouth- and teeth-related injuries. Our dentists will recommend and custom fit a mouth protector best suited to your needs.

What are the hallmarks of a good mouthguard or nightguard?

An effective one should feel comfortable, resist tears, be durable and easy to clean. It also should not restrict breathing or speech.

How do I take care of my mouthguard or nightguard?

Always keep it in its designated container and protect it from high temperatures (such as hot water, hot surfaces or direct sunlight).
